Yes, the Los Angeles branch of NGA began when members were traveling amid orange groves by horse and buggy.
That equals a lot of shopping to fulfill the increasing need within our community.
Clothing, linens, and personal care items.
Our reach is on an upward trend. We hope to serve even more low income neighbors in the upcoming years.
NGA Hancock Park is an all-volunteer women's organization based in Los Angeles whose mission is to provide new clothing, household linens and personal care items to needy men, women and children in the Hollywood and Downtown areas of Los Angeles. NGA Hancock Park distributes these much needed items through a network of local partner charities which provide wish lists that NGA members shop to fulfill. We individually select school uniforms for low-income students, holiday gifts for homeless families and linens and personal care items for shelters and rehabilitation centers. The personal attention from our members, along with the new items provided, help to uplift and equalize, while nurturing self-esteem.
Your generous tax-deductible gift will help us fund our mission to help those in need. Together, we can make a difference.
